Hello to all sports lover. Today we have a tutorial on how to set a scoreboard. As far as we know, the current controllers in the market are quite complicated since the score calculations are calculated differently in every sports. With our current keypad that comes with just 4 to 5 buttons, the settings has been preset and it is easy to operate.
Also, how is there an excitement of watching a match without knowing the current score? Well, with the availability of a scoreboard, life becomes easy. You may say no to stationery (yes, go green) and the scores will be transparent to the audience.
Below is a short video in setting a scoreboard and it shows how easy the settings are.
The image below is the controller used for the above scoreboard to set the timer.
This controller settings by default is in Mode 2 and consist of 5 buttons:
1. Mode 1 / Mode 2
2. +10m / Hold Reset
3. +1m
4. RUN
5. STOP
To set the time:
1. Press on 1st button to go in to Mode 1.
2. Press on 2nd and 3rd button to add 10 minutes and 1 minute respectively (ASCENDANT ONLY).
3. Hold on 1st button to confirm and exit from the settings.
To start the time countdown:
1. Press on 4th button to run the countdown.
2. Press on 5th button to stop the countdown.
3. Once the countdown reach 00:00 or wish to reset the time during the on-going countdown, press on 2nd button "Hold Reset" to reset the time back to the time set in the setting.
The image below is the controller used for the above scoreboard to set the team name and score.
This controller settings by default is in Mode 2 and consist of 5 buttons:
1. Hold To (Mode 1 and Mode 2)
2. Reset (Left option and A +10)
3. A -1 (Right option and A -1)
4. Reset (Ascend option and B +10)
5. B -1 (Descend option and B -1)
To set the team name:
1. Press on "Hold To" button to go to Mode 1.
2. Press on 2nd or 3rd button to go to left or right.
3. Press on 4th button to set the team name from "A to Z", "0 to 9" or some other special alphabet characters (ASCENDANT).
4. Press on 5th button to set the team name from "A to Z", "0 to 9" or some other special alphabet characters (DESCENDANT).
5. Press on "Hold To" to confirm and exit the setting.
By now, your controller setting is already in Mode 2 option. To update the score:
1. Press on 2nd button once to add 10 points for first team.
2. Press on 3rd button once to add 1 point for first team.
3. Hold on to 2nd button "RESET" to reset the score for first team.
4. Hold on to 3rd button "A -1" to deduct 1 point for first team.
5. Press on 4th button once to add 10 points for second team.
6. Press on 5th button once to add 1 point for second team.
7. Hold on 4th button "RESET" to reset the score for second team.
8. Hold on 5th button "B -1" to deduct 1 point for second team.
